Welcome to 1st grade! My name is Ms. Ingram. I was born and raised in Manassas Virginia and studied Elementary Education at Old Dominion University. This is my fourth year teaching 1st grade at Lake Ridge
Elementary School and I am loving every minute of it! Our students, our staff, and our community are one of a kind and I am extremely grateful to be a part of the LRES family!

When I am not making anchor charts or researching ways to be active in the classroom, you can find me on a run with a friend, reading a good book, or cuddling with my dog!

In our classroom, you will find us making memories through hands on learning and working together as a team. We support, respect, and truly enjoy our classroom family. So, come on by and meet us! We would love to tell you about our newest learning adventures! :)

Please explore the sub pages on the left for more information.

 Update 4/13/2020
Dear Families,
I hope everyone enjoyed their Spring Break! As we settle into virtual teaching, I have created a weekly lesson schedule to support your child's home learning. This schedule follows the new PWCS guidelines requiring a maximum of 60 minutes of lessons/practice per subject per week. As a grade level, we have chosen to focus on one subject each day for 60 minutes. All lessons are optional and no work will be graded. The schedules will be updated and uploaded weekly starting now through June 12th. They are located under the Weekly Schedules sub page and imported as a word document file.
As always, if you have any questions, comments or concerns, or if I can help in any way, please reach out via Dojo. I miss my Littles
so much and can't wait to see their smiling faces on Zoom!
Kindly,
Ms. Ingram

Update 3/19/2020
Dear Families,    I cannot thank you enough for your support, patience, and kindness during this time. As we settle into social distancing and possibly learning from home if your schedule allows, I want you to know that I am here if you need any guidance at all. Please see the planning calendar located in the Instructional Calendar folder. This will show you the planned topics of focus in each content area. This calendar is used as a pacing guide when making my detailed daily plans. If we were in school the week of March 23rd-27th, we would be working on nouns verbs and adjectives, continuing our social studies unit on famous Virginian's, beginning our poetry unit, and learning about magnitude (estimation) in math.  I miss my littles so much and cannot wait to get back in the classroom and be with them soon. Give them a big hug from me!  Kindly,  Ms. Ingram
