I grew up right here in Prince William County and attended our schools. After graduating from Longwood University, I moved to Florida and taught students with severe intellectual disabilities for about five years in both pre-kindergarten and junior high classrooms before deciding to become a stay at home mom to my five boys. Since moving back to Virginia, I've returned to teaching and am excited for my 2nd year at Lake Ridge Elementary! My favorite thing to do in my free time is to bring my boys to vintage air shows and teach them about our remarkable history! I’m very excited to welcome Ronae Douglas back to the classroom as our fantastic classroom assistant!
Reminder: This Friday, Jan 27 students will be released at 12:10 for elementary parent/teacher conference day! If you haven't scheduled a conference yet, please email or call so we can get one set up!
There is no school Monday, Jan 30 for a teacher workday
