Announcement: September 23
Although we are not in the classroom together, we are still required to spend some time in this first month of school discussing our crisis management plan. All first grade classes will be holding two brief class discussions about the importance of fire drills and lock down drills. The first one will take place first thing this Friday, September 25 following the morning announcements. We'll view short videos highlighting what to do in the event of a fire or lock down when we are in the building. The follow-up discussion will take place at the same time the following Friday, October 2.

Parents have the choice to "opt out" of these conversations, as these are not required during virtual learning. Therefore, if you would rather your child not participate in these brief safety discussions, please do not log into Zoom until 9:15 on September 25 and October 2.

Dear First Grade Families,

We are so excited for the 2020-2021 school year! For the first nine weeks, we will be working with students in our virtual classrooms. We are excited for this new learning adventure and to work with our new first grade friends!
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please reach out to your child's teacher.
